Prophase: stage of mitosis in which the chromatin condenses into chromosomes.
Metaphase: the chromosomes become attached to the spindle fibers
Anaphase: meiotic cel division in which the chromosomes move away from one another to opposite poles of the spindle
Telophase: final phase of cell division which the chromatin or chromosomes move to opposite ends and two nuclei are formed
