Explanation

Step 1

[tex]f(x)=x^2+2x-24[/tex]

Zeros

A(-6,0) B(4,0)

because

[tex]\begin{gathered} f(x)=x^2+2x-24 \\ f(-6)=(-6)^2+2(-6)-24=36-12-24=0 \\ f(4)=4^2+2\cdot4-24=16+8-24=0 \end{gathered}[/tex]

Step 2

table

[tex]\begin{gathered} (-6,0) \\ (4,0) \\ f(-1)=-1^2+2\cdot-1-24=1-2-24=-25 \\ (1,-25) \\ \end{gathered}[/tex]

I hope this helps you
