Surface area of a square pyramid:

s = length of base edge.

h = height of pyramid from base to top.

A = surface area.

[tex] A \: = s² + 2s \sqrt{\frac{a^{2}}{4}+h^{2}}[/tex]

√ = square root, root of 2, opposite of square.

² = square, power of 2, times itself once.

n × n = n²
