[tex]500 \times 4 = 2000mb[/tex]
[tex]2 \times 1000 = 2000mb[/tex]
[tex]2000 + 2000 = 4000mb[/tex]
4000Mb ÷ 1000Mb = 4Gb

Explained again:

Four 500 mb drives:

500 + 500 = 1000mb = 1Gb

500+500 = 1000Mb = 1Gb

1Gb+1Gb = 2Gb

plus the 2Gb flash drive:

2Gb + 2Gb = 4Gb
